SOS Summary Page - Fluid Analysis Report

The following article is a quick overview of the SOS Summary page, located in the Fluid Analysis Report. This page focuses on machine health for oil samples that has been tested by the goods and service provider.

This report only contains the last 90 days of modified data, however, the report will show the last 30 days by default. Increasing the date filter will show more data.

Filters Panel

For more information on how to use filters, click here.

On the left side of the SOS Summary page is the Filters Panel. Here you can make some simple changes that will affect the entire report.

  • Company
    • If the end-user has multiple customer numbers attached to their account, they have the ability to select the Company drop-down menu and select one or multiple companies. All available companies are set by default.
  • Make
    • This drop-down allows the end-user to filter by make of machine, like CAT. All available machine make is set by default.
  • Model
    • This drop-down allows the end-user to filter by machine model. All available models are set by default.
  • Machine Unit
    • This drop-down allows the end-user to filter by machine unit number. All available machine units are set by default.
  • Serial Number
    • This drop-down allows the end-user to filter by machine serial number. All available serial numbers are set by default.
  • Compartment Name
    • This drop-down allows the end-user to filter by machine compartment name. All available serial numbers are set by default.
  • Last Interpreted Date
    • This date filter allows the user to specify a timeframe to filter all SOS data by the date the sample was last interpreted by the lab. The Last Interpreted Date filter is set to 30 days by default. This report only shows the last 90 days of modified data, however, you can modify the date range to see more or less data.
  • Analysis Result Code
    • This button filter allows the end user to filter sample results by analysis code, which is A (Green - No Action Required), B (Yellow - Monitor), C (Orange - Action Required), X (Red - Urgent Action Required). In rare cases a will also be available, representing no code.

SOS Summary Tile Cards

At the top of the SOS Summary page, two tile cards are present, and exist to give the end-user a general overview of total alerts and urgent alerts. Clicking on these tile cards will trigger filters.

  • Total Alerts
    • Total Alerts shows the total amount of SOS alerts based on the filters assigned within the timeframe set. This tile includes codes (No Action) but excludes (No Code).
  • Urgent Alerts
    • Urgent Alerts shows the total code SOS results based on the filters assigned within the timeframe set.

SOS Count by Analysis Result

The SOS Count by Analysis Result donut chart shows the ratio of SOS analysis alerts by count.

SOS Count by Compartment Name and Analysis Result

The SOS Count by Compartment Name and Analysis Result bar chart is designed to give the end-user a view of the alerts by compartment name and the severity of alerts associated.

SOS Count by Machine Unit and Analysis Result

The SOS Count by Machine Unit and Analysis Result bar chart is designed to give the end-user a view of the alerts by machine unit number and the severity of alerts associated.

Analysis Result by Compartment and Machine Unit

The Analysis Result by Compartment and Machine Unit table gives the end-user a raw look at all alerts that have been identified by the goods and service provider.

Using the tool-tips feature, by hovering over each line item, will give extra information like Sample Date and a written analysis by a lab technician.
