Fuel Burn Page - Assets Report

The following article is a quick overview of the Fuel Burn page, located in the Assets Report. This page focuses on the fuel consumption of connected assets.

Filters Panel

For more information on how to use filters, click here.

On the left side of the Fuel Burn page is the Filters Panel. Here you can make some simple changes that will affect the entire report.

  • Company
    • If the end-user has multiple customer numbers attached to their account, they have the ability to select the Company drop-down menu and select one or multiple companies. All available companies are set by default.
  • Model
    • This drop-down menu allows the end-user to select one or multiple connected assets by model number. All available models are set by default.
  • Serial Number
    • This drop-down menu allows the end-user to select one or multiple connected assets by serial number. All available models are set by default.
  • Alternate ID
    • This drop-down menu allows the end-user to select one or multiple connected assets by alternate ID number. All available alternate ID numbers are set by default.
  • Reading Date
    • This date filter allows the user to specify a timeframe to filter connected assets. The timeframe is by Reading Date. The Reading Date filter is set to 30 days by default.

Fuel Burn Tile Cards

At the top of the Fuel Burn page, two tile cards are present, and exist to give the end-user a general overview of total and average fuel burn for connected assets. Clicking on these tile cards do not trigger any filters.

  • Total Fuel Burn (l)
    • Total Fuel Burn shows a complete picture of how much fuel has been burned - depending on which assets have been selected over the timeframe set by the date filter. This reading is shown in litres (l).
  • Avg. Daily Fuel Burn (l)
    • Average Daily Fuel Burn shows the daily average of how much fuel has been burned - depending on which assets have been selected over the timeframe set by the date filter. This reading is shown in litres (l).

Top 10 Models by Avg. Daily Fuel Burn

The Top 10 Models by Avg. Daily Fuel Burn bar chart is designed to show the top 10 equipment models by the amount of fuel that has been consumed on an average daily basis.

Top 100 Assets by Total Fuel Burn

The Top 100 Assets by Total Fuel Burn bar chart is designed to give the user a view of which assets are consuming the most fuel within the timeframe set by the date filter. This visual may benefit from using Focus Mode.

Monthly Fuel Burn

The Monthly Fuel Burn bar chart is designed to show month on month fuel burn by the asset selected during the time frame set by the date filter. Grey rounded boxes at the top of each bar gives the count of how many machines contribute to each monthly calculation.

Tool tips on this chart show further detail including a daily breakdown.

Latest Fuel Reading

The Latest Fuel Reading table gives the end user a raw overview of the latest fuel readings. The table details the daily consumption, total consumption, change from previous reading and more.

This table can be exported to .xlsx or .csv as raw data.
